Staind vocalist/guitarist Aaron Lewis has begun streaming the title track to his new country solo album, “Give My Country Back“. The politically outspoken musician has been known to integrate his right-wing political opinions into his solo output, and given the lyrics for this lead single, that trend continues.
Lewis has already tested this track out live on the road and will be touring on the back of this album for much of the year, including stops at the controversial ‘Rock The Country‘ festivals. He also recently launched some politically-oriented merch to promote that run that stirred up controversy as well.
This new record will be out July 17th on Big Machine Records. Come 2027, Lewis will shift his focus back to Staind, who have a ninth studio album in the can, with release details pending.

The lyrics for this latest single include:
“If you don’t like my country, you can give my country back
I don’t mind you leaving, hell I’ll even help you pack
Take a bus, a plane, a truck, a train
To where they like the way you act
‘Cause if you don’t like my country, you can give my country backYou’ve been crying like a fiddle, you’ve been whining like a steel
I tried to care just a little, but here’s the way I feel
I hate to bust your bubble, but I don’t mind if I do
But keep stirring up the trouble, but there’s more of us than youAnd if you don’t like my country, you can give my country back
Yeah, I don’t mind you leaving, hell I’ll even help you pack
Take a bus, a plane, a truck, a train
To where they like the way you act
If you don’t like my country, you can give my country backNow we’re standing on the shoulders of the ones that went before
Proud of what they did to make it all worth dying for
Yeah, you bite the hands that feeds you
And it ought to be a crime
You wave a flag from somewhere else while you’re burning mineAnd if you don’t like my country, you can give my country back
Hey, I don’t mind you leaving, hell I’ll even help you pack
Take a bus, a plane, a truck, a train
To where they like the way you act
If you don’t like my country, you can give my country backYou keep telling us you’re leaving
Don’t believe in what we believe in
There’s the door, you can leave the freedom
I’ll be here pledging my allegianceAnd if you don’t like my country, you can give my country back
Yeah, I don’t mind you leaving, hell I’ll even help you pack
Take a bus, a plane, a truck, a train
To where they like the way you act
‘Cause if you don’t like my country, you can give my country backYeah, if you don’t like my country, you can give my country back
If you don’t like my country, you can kiss my country ass”
