Static-X have canceled their remaining tour dates for 2026 in light of “serious medical issues.” A statement issued by the platinum-certified industrial nü-metal band today, May 18th, reads as follows:
“Due to serious medical issues, Static-X will be forced to cancel our remaining tour dates in 2026.
The situation is unavoidable and requires immediate attention.We are very sorry for the inconvenience, and we promise to return to the stage, bigger, stronger and faster in 2027.
We appreciate your continued love and support and look forward to seeing you all again very soon!

A follow-up post shared by the band in the comments of their below social media post downplayed the potential severity of the issues, it read as follows:
“Thank you for all the well wishes! Your energy and love is much appreciated
Don’t worry about us, we will be fineJust a bunch of old men with parts that need fixing
Will be back stronger than ever soon”
Static-X‘s classic era lineup of bassist/vocalist Tony Campos, guitarist Koichi Fukuda and drummer Ken Jay reunited in 2018, with Dope vocalist Edsel Dope fronting the band in place of the late Wayne Static under the guise of ‘Xer0‘.
