Tosh Peterson, who serves as the drummer for pop superstar Lady Gaga, got tasked with coming up with his own drum parts for Death‘s “Crystal Mountain” during a stay with Drumeo. Peterson was not familiar with that 1995 track from the celebrated death metal outfit prior, and was introduced to the song via a version that had the percussion removed.
You can see how he did filling in for Gene “The Atomic Clock” Hoglan‘s boots on that track below. This latest stab for Drumeo from Peterson also saw Hoglan weighing in on Peterson‘s take afterwards.
