Southern metalcore outfit Gideon have newly been added to the bill of the 2026 ‘Sonic Temple‘ festival in Columbus, OH. The band will be appearing on the Saturday, May 16th date, taking over the slot recently vacated by alternative rockers CKY. The latter outfit were forced to drop off the bill due to their drummer Jess Margera suffering a shoulder injury.
Gideon said about their unexpected edition to the fest, “Stoked to be there, sorry to CKY fans, we’ll play “THE RIFF” at soundcheck.”
This year’s ‘Sonic Temple‘ will be held May 14th-17th at the Historic Crew Stadium. Headlining sets will come from My Chemical Romance, Shinedown, Bring Me The Horizon and Tool, while countless others will also be playing.
