Influential Swedish melodic death metal band At The Gates released their final studio album with their late frontman Tomas “Tompa” Lindberg today, April 24th. That bittersweet effort arrives roughly half a year since Lindberg‘s untimely passing from cancer. They titled that record “The Ghost Of A Future Dead” and it features the vocal tracks Lindberg originally demoed for the album prior to undergoing surgery and treatment for his battle with adenoid cystic carcinoma.
Arriving today in conjunction with the album’s release is an animated video for “In Dark Distortion“, which was overseen by Costin Chioreanu. In addition to teaming with At The Gates several times in the past, he is known for his work with Ghost, Corrosion Of Conformity and more.
