Metalcore mavens Converge went into the studio for the sessions for their latest album “Love Is Not Enough” armed with a veritable surplus of tracks last year. As drummer Ben Koller revealed, 27 song ideas had been in the works, with at least 17 of them having been tracked. While this past February’s release of that record marked the band’s first mainline Converge album since 2017’s “The Dusk In Us“, it arrived sporting only 10 of those new songs.
Thus, when a mysterious Converge billboard recently surfaced in Boston, MA with accompanying record label logos, it seemed likely that the group would be further unloading the relative mountain of new material they were sitting on.
According to Apple Music, that is indeed the case, as they be dropping their second new album of 2026 “Hum Of Hurt“, on June 05th via Epitaph. What’s more, the title track will serve as the first single from it and is scheduled to debut online tomorrow, April 01st.
The confirmed track listing for this surprise outing will run as follows:
01 – “Slip The Noose“
02 – “Doom In Bloom“
03 – “It Only Gets Worse“
04 – “Detonator“
05 – “I Won’t Let You Go“
06 – “It’s Not Up To Us“
07 – “Dream Debris“
08 – “It Used To Matter“
09 – “Hum Of Hurt“
10 – “Nothing Is Over“
