British deathcore band Ingested have fired their vocalist Josh Davies in the wake of of disturbing allegations being made against him. The women who publicly came forward against him said they tried to involve the police in the matter, but the authorities weren’t helpful. In a statement issued overnight, Ingested announced they have terminated Davies. That statement reads:
“Statement
Effective immediately, Josh Davies is no longer a member of Ingested.
Adam Mercer will be handling vocal duties on the upcoming Bodysnatcher tour.”
Davies had joined the group in 2024, with his ouster arriving nearly a week after the band announced their first studio album with him, “Denigration“, for a May 08th release date. Davies does not yet appear to have publicly addressed these allegations. His immediate live fill-in, Adam Mercer has most recently been involved with DeathStroke after departing A Wake In Providence last year.
