It kind of goes without saying at this point that Attila frontman Chris Fronzak has had a long history of provocative/edgy behavior. From using homophobic slurs in lyrics in the band’s earlier material, to beefing with various artists, making making adult film content, engaging in various diss tracks, and even snorting cremated remains onstage, Fronzak and the controversial metalcore band he fronts haven’t exactly been constrained by conventional artist boundaries.
Despite previously launching a ‘campaign’ for the U.S. presidency, one potential source of controversy Fronzak seems to be at least somewhat leery of engaging in full on however is political beliefs. Over the past weekend, Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland once again lashed out at supporters of U.S. President Donald J. Trump, telling those who are in favor of the divisive politician/entrepreneur to promptly unfollow him [Borland] on social media.
Borland said in a fiery post featured on his Instagram story:
“If any of my followers voted of support Trump or are still friends with anyone who supports the Trump administration you’re out. F*ck You. Never contact me again.”
Reacting to a post shared on social regarding Borland‘s comments, Fronzak took to X yesterday, February 01st, to say the following:
I thought he was smarter, kind of a retarded thing to say, there's no reason to lose most of your fan base over a political opinion lmao

Fronzak found support from his fans for his stance on the matter, engaging in the following exchanges in turn:
I think I'm the last person in metal with a brain, just trying to keep it real and not be fake

Hell yeah. I'm not a fucking sheep like everyone else. I don't have a label breathing down my back telling me what to say.
