Ferocious metalcore outfit Converge had some setlist surprises in store during their headlining performance at their ‘Saddest Day‘ festival at the Roadrunner in Boston, MA yesterday, December 13th. The group delivered a 23-song set which they concluded with what else, but their 1996 track “The Saddest Day“.
With a new album finally on the horizon for a February 13th release, Converge instead looked back to their past during the majority of last night’s set. Throwing it back, “Towing Jehovah” got its first performance ins 2004, “Conduit” was brought back for the first time since 2008 ,and “Lonewolves” returned for the first time since 2011.
“My Unsaid Everything” also got its first live airing since 2012, while “Black Cloud” was played for the first time since 2019. On top of that, members of Full Of Hell came out to join the band for “Axe To Fall“. Fan-filmed footage of the full set is available below, along with the setlist:
