Last we heard from the Bad Wolves camp, drummer John Boecklin was once again rebuilding the multi-platinum alternative metal band, this time with a new female singer in tow — along with another unexpected lineup additions. After an unsuccessful $1,000,000 bid to gain control of the band’s name and rights, former vocalist Tommy Vext spilled the beans on the matter, claiming that Bad Wolves had locked in a new female vocalist.

Vext, who had hoped to relaunch the band himself with former guitarist Chris Cain, further claimed that the new version of Bad Wolves have also enlisted the services of Animals As Leaders guitarist Javier Reyes.

With guitarists Doc Coyle & Chris Cain, bassist/vocalist Kyle Konkiel and vocalist/guitarist Daniel “DL” Laskiewicz all out, that left the Bad Wolves headcount at Boecklin, guitarist AJ Rebollo and bassist Kevin Creekman. Per recent teases on social media, it would now appear that Killboy has landed the role of fronting the group.

Fan suspicion regarding her rumored involvement in the band continues to build, as various apparent clues have emerged on social media. Killboy previously teased on social media that she had joined a new band that she wasn’t able to reveal yet. Subsequent posts have found her naming her new spider ‘Wolfie’, with the arachnid’s enclosure reportedly showing up in a recent social media post from the studio shared by Rebollo.

You can dive deeper into a collection the fan findings regarding the apparent lineup addition over at the band’s subreddit. For what it’s worth, Bad Wolves‘ official Instagram account is also currently following Killboy.
