Despite their sixth studio album “Lonely People With Power” arriving in March of this year, fans of blackgaze outfit Deafheaven can expect to hear more new music from the group in 2026. A recent interview with the band’s vocalist George Clarke over at Consequence found him stating:
“I guess this is the first time I’ll have said this, and maybe it’s good [timing] because the year is concluding, but we will have new music next year.”
As for how that music emerges remains to be seen, but it doesn’t seem to be at the expense of continued touring. Clarke said in the same interview, “We will be touring a lot. So, we’re gonna be very, very busy. It will be busier than this year, which is a blessing.”
