Atreyu‘s latest single “Dead” still has some life in it it seems, as the melodic metalcore group have newly released the below music video for it. Ahead of the September 2025 debut of that single, the band staged a publicity stunt that implied they were hanging it up, playing into the song’s namesake. Sean Stiegemeier helmed the below war-inspired video for the song, with the band going on to offer:
“‘Dead‘ lyrically is about a very real and very dark question. It was important for us for the video to match that energy. This video may be sensitive to some but to us it was important to match the reality and the gravity of what ‘Dead‘ is about.”
Currently Atreyu are out celebrating 21 years of their gold-certified debut album “The Curse” on the road, hitting the following cities.
