Dogma‘s planned Australian tour has been postponed amid the ongoing controversy surrounding the band. Recently, various former members of the all-female outfit have taken to social media to air their grievances against the band’s management.
Various allegations of mistreatment, manipulation and more have been leveled against said management. A common theme in their respective statements outlined allegations of having been treated poorly on a professional level during their time in the band. Furthermore, several past members also claimed to have been dismissed and replaced in the outfit without warning.
As fans have personally charted, turnover within Dogma‘s ranks has seemingly been a constant. Allegations made by some of the ex-members noted above spelled out an environment where musicians were reportedly viewed as disposable and swapped out if the band’s management deemed it necessary.
In response to the growing uproar, Hardline Media, who were serving as the promoter for the band’s first-ever Australian tour this month, are said to have issued the following statement on the matter earlier this week
“Dear Dogma fans,
Due to the current situation unfolding we are postponing the Australian shows for now.
We only want to promote the band we, and you, thought we were getting.
We will do all we can to make this happen. But this will take a little time. Please hold onto your ticket for now while we try to sort this for you.
If we cannot make this happen, refunds will be processed — but we need your support to make this happen. A big way of showing your support is holding onto your ticket, which will allow us to navigate this to a positive outcome where you, the fans, get what you paid for.
Much respect
Hardline Media“
As seen at oztix.com.au, all current shows for that tour remain postponed as of press time. Thus far the Dogma‘s official social media have yet to address the postponement.
