A trio of new metal signings were announced this morning (November 06th). First up, Greek black metallers Yoth Iria (pictured above) have found a home with Metal Blade Records. With a new studio album already in the works for a spring 2026 release, the group commented:
“This new chapter with Metal Blade Records marks not only a huge step forward but also a true milestone in our journey. It is a great honor for us to join the roster of such an iconic label and stand alongside so many legendary bands.”
In the metalcore category, Alabaman outfit Wielded Steel have aligned themselves with 1126 Records. A video for their new song “Your Words Mea Nothing” has been shared in tandem with the signing, with vocalist Jesse Clark offering:
“‘Your Words Mean Nothing‘ is a song about the empty promises of prosperity that are slung around by the ruling class, to try and keep poor people docile and accepting. How they attempt to use identity politics to pit people against each other and keep them distracted and angry. It’s also about how those politicians, and billionaire CEOs, that engineer and profit off of the suffering of the working class are just people. People that can be made to face consequences. There are more of us than there are of them.”
Meanwhile, Mongolian rockers UUHAI have landed at Napalm Records and will have their debut album “Human Herds” out on January 09th. A video for their eponymous track from it “Uuhai” is available now, with the band stating of it:
“From the ancient felt dwellings of the nomads to the storm winds that tie down spirits, UUHAI carries the voice of a nation. A cry of fire, steel, and blood, it honors the mountains, rivers, and sky that gave rise to the Mongol spirit.”
