Cave In, Mutoid Man, etc. vocalist Stephen Brodsky is planning to compile the various acoustic covers he did of hardcore, etc. bands earlier in the year for an upcoming release. Throughout the opening months of the year Brodsky stripped down numerous songs from artists that influenced him, including tracks by Converge, Texas Is The Reason, Sense Field and many more. Speaking of that yesterday and an upcoming intimate live show he has planned at the YMCA Of The North Shore in Rowley, MA on November 01st, he said:
“Hey, so remember all those acoustic hardcore covers I did earlier this year? They’re gonna be released as a collection (more on that soon) and I’m playing some shows to celebrate
First show is at a camp site inside a cabin in ROWLEY MA. And I think there’s only 70 tickets available. It’s a great spot – played there years ago at the very first @wearyourwoundsofficial show.
Date is NOV 1st – less than a month away… sorry to drop this on you so last minute, in a world where these things are usually planned like 18 months in advance. There’s a QR code on the admat to grab tickets – hope to see you there!”
