From Ashes To New‘s single “New Disease” surfaced online today, July 25th, emerging as the newest song from the Lancaster, PA-based nü-metallers. Rather than a cover of the Spineshank track of the same name, this outing is instead an original composition, which vocalist Matt Brandyberry described as follows:
“Every day there’s a new trend. Every day there’s a new wave of people going out of their way to be recognized no matter the cost. We are hypnotized by our vices…we will kill ourselves to be noticed.”
A video for the song was overseen by JOSIAHx and is available below. The band’s headlining ‘New Disease Tour‘ is set to start in September with Magnolia Park, Until I Wake and Not Enough Space completing the bill.
