Danny Case, co-vocalist of gold-certified nü-metal outfit From Ashes To New, has shared footage of himself shutting down an audience member who was spraying bands with a water gun during a festival performance. Case berated the offending individual, after the concertgoer didn’t heed his prior warning to knock it off. Case stated [transcribed by theprp.com]
“Hey, if you do that again, you’re gonna leave with no f*cking teeth. Stop it. I’m dead f*cking serious. Stop spraying us with water or I’m gonna kick you in the f*cking mouth. Try me m*therfucker, I told you mid-song, don’t do it anymore. I will fucking end you. Try me.”
After Case‘s bandmate addressed the offending audience member in a more polite fashion to diffuse the situation and make the water spraying stop, Case came back to say:
“Guess what, I got leverage. I can dive off the stage and f*cking kick you in the teeth, bitch.”
He continued: “I gave you a very nice warning mid-song and then you kept doing it.” Case went on to say of the footage on his social media post:
“Story time! Some asshole decided it would be funny to spray bands with a water gun while they were performing at this festival. It was not in good faith. It wasn’t because he was joining in on some kind of fun. He was a dick and he was doing his best to hide so he wouldn’t get caught.
He sprayed us in the face 6 times before I finally found him and told him to stop during one of our songs. He then continued to do it and I did what any rational person would do… I threatened to f—king destroy him. Don’t mess with performers.”
