Veteran metalcore outfit Converge have announced their ‘Saddest Day‘ festival for December 13th. That event of course takes its name from their 1996 “Petitioning The Empty Sky” track. The Salem, MA natives have personally curated the lineup for this event, which is set to take over the Roadrunner in Boston, MA. Fans attending can expect to catch sets from the following roster:
Converge
Touché Amoré
Coalesce
The Hope Conspiracy
Soul Glo
Year Of The Knife
Stress Positions
Wormwood
An additional special artist holding billing just under The Hope Conspiracy will be revealed on September 21st. Outside of the musical performances, Converge‘s own Jacob Bannon will be hosting a live art exhibit, with the works of Thomas Hooper, Nightswim Project and more also on display. Ticket pre-sales are set to launch tomorrow, July 23rd at 10:00am EST with the password ‘saddestday’.
The general onsale will follow this Thursday, at 10:00am EST. Converge hit the studio earlier this year for their long-awaited follow-up to their 2017 album, “The Dusk In Us“. The group have already been integrating some of those new songs into their live show.
