Down guitarist Kirk Windstein (also of Crowbar, etc.) has shared some footage from recent studio sessions for the sludge metal supergroup’s long-awaited next album. The supergroup signed with Nuclear Blast earlier this year and have been preparing that new entry in their catalog for a 2026 release.
A brief sample of what they have been cooking up thus far emerged on Windstein‘s social media yesterday, July 12th and can be found below. Down‘s last full-length album “Down III: Over The Under” arrived back in 2007.
