Britt Bowman, a drummer who has sat behind the kit for Demi Lovato, Meg Myers and more, has taken her turn in the hot seat over at Drumeo. Her challenge was to come up with her own parts for “Blackout“, the title track to the platinum-certtified 1982 album from German hard rockers Scorpions.
Bowman was not familiar with the track prior and was introduced to it via a version featuring the percussion removed. Below you can watch her creative process and eventual take on the song, along with her reaction to the actual studio version of it:
