Australian metalcore group The Amity Affliction spent some time recently at Triple J Studios, taking part in the Aussie broadcaster’s long-running ‘Like A Version’ series. That series challenges an artist with covering a song live in-studio, while also generally affording them the time to perform a track of their own and take part in an interview. The Amity Affliction checked off all three of the above during their visit, delivering their take on “HOLIDAY“, the fifth and final single to be released from melodic hardcore outfit Turnstile‘s 2021 breakthrough album “GLOW ON“.
Adding some extra spice to the track, the band also recruited some string musicians for their rendition, and they enlisted Misstiq on keys. That cover is available below, along with a performance of The Amity Affliction‘s latest single “All I Remember“. The studio version of that track landed online earlier this week and serves as the band’s first song with the talents of their new bassist/vocalist Jonny Reeves (ex-Kingdom Of Giants), who officially replaced Ahren Stringer this year.
