Gruesome, the death metal collective inspired by pioneering Floridian death metal outfit Death, have debuted a new song by the name of “Condemned Identity“. Vocalist/guitarist Matt Harvey (Exhumed, etc.) commented:
“‘Condemned Identity‘ was a no-brainer as the leadoff track for the record as it comes out of the gate at full-strength, putting all of our cards on the table. I mean, yeah it’s more articulate and musical than what we’ve done before, but it’s still very much death metal, which I’m very happy about. Even though we’re incorporating more sophisticated stuff, we can still rip your face off.”
That song can be found on Gruesome‘s forthcoming new album “Silent Echoes“, due June 06th on Relapse.
