Disturbed's San Francisco Show Canceled Due To NBA Playoffs

It would seem that the NBA and Disturbed just can’t get on the same page this spring. The multi-platinum nü-metal band’s upcoming May 10th show at the Chase Center in San Francisco, CA has been canceled due to a scheduling conflict with the Golden State Warriors‘ playoff bid against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Disturbed had been booked to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their debut album “The Sickness” at that show with Daughtry and Nothing More opening.

The cancelation is somewhat of an ironic twist, given an incident alleged to have occurred during Disturbed‘s March 08th show at the United Center in Chicago, IL. Reports emerged online from local news outlets that the band’s pyro at that concert allegedly damaged six championship banners from the Chicago Bulls that were hung in the rafters. While those banners have since been taken down and are undergoing repair, the band themselves have denied responsibility for the damage.

Speaking today, May 05th on this new NBA-related show cancelation, Disturbed offered:

“Due to an unforeseen schedule conflict with the Golden State Warriors and the NBA playoffs, the Disturbed show scheduled for May 10 at Chase Center in San Francisco has been cancelled. If you purchased through Ticketmaster, refunds will be issued automatically. If you purchased from a third-party reseller (StubHub, SeatGeek, VividSeats, etc.), please reach out to your point of purchase.”

Disturbed‘s “The Sickness” 25th anniversary touring with Daughtry & Nothing More continues as follows:

04/28 Oklahoma City, OK – Paycom Center
05/05 Seattle, WA – Climate Pledge Arena
05/07 Portland, OR – Moda Center
05/09 Sacramento, CA – Golden 1 Center
05/13 Inglewood, CA – Kia Forum
05/15 Phoenix, AZ – Footprint Center
05/17 Las Vegas, NV – MGM Grand Garden Arena
