Des Moines, IA is next up to bat for Acid Bath‘s 2025 reunion plans. The reconfigured sludge metal vets are returning this year for their first round of live shows in nearly 28 years. Vocalist Dax Riggs, guitarist/vocalist Sammy “Pierre” Duet, and guitarist/vocalist Mike Sanchez are all back in the saddle, with newcomers in Zack Simmons (Goatwhore, etc.) on drums and Alex Bergeron (ex-Agents Of Oblivion, etc.) on bass shoring up the roster.
This latest show will take place June 06th at the Val Air Ballroom in Des Moines, IA and feature opening sets from High On Fire and Exhorder. With the addition of this date, Acid Bath‘s current reunion plans are set to play out as follows:
