Chef, restaurateur, actor, TV & internet personality, etc. Matty Matheson has launched a new hardcore band dubbed Pig Pen. Matheson himself is on vocals, while Wade MacNeil of Alexisonfire, etc. fame is on guitars/backing vocals.
Canadian prog rock/country artist Daniel Romano will handle additional guitar parts, while is brother Ian is taking on the drums. Tommy Major will be holding down the bass. The group’s debut show will take place at Sneaky Dee’s in Toronto, ON on April 25th. with Best Wishes and Pluto’s Kiss opening. You can find a tease of their music below.
Speaking earlier today of the band’s unveiling, MacNeil, who has also spent time with Gallows, Thursday and more, offered:
