British metalcore outfit While She Sleeps have released a short film titled ‘Two The Flowers‘, which serves as a sequel to last year’s “To The Flowers“. This latest short premiered on February 12th, with the band stating of it:
“Two The Flowers depicts a raw portrayal of loss, resilience and the delicate path towards healing.”
Directed by While She Sleeps.
On the 1 year anniversary of the release of ‘To The Flowers’ we present to you, ‘Two The Flowers’, a short film sequel. This is a reminder that our traumas and grief aren’t confined to a time frame. Almost in every case there’s a continuous, seemingly everlasting struggle that hides behind a missed call or an “I’m fine”, months and even years later. It’s a reminder that it’s ok to do what you need to do to heal. We didn’t want to leave our character ‘Zach’ behind and we felt there was more of his story to tell that only a short film could do justice.
The creative outlet of the While She Sleeps entity is more than just music. Through all areas of our journey we dedicate ourselves to the detailed & conscious curation of everything you hear, see & feel out of the sheer love for it. Our creations aren’t driven by validation, they are personal processes striving to capture and document our inner voice. It starts with the music and is followed by the visual. We strive to represent ourselves honestly, by creating all forms of art & all that embodies Sleeps, in-house & under one roof.
This piece is a reminder to ourselves to focus on the relationships that matter to us most, not just in the moments of need.
By the band, for the band.”
