An as-yet unofficially released new track track from heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne and his longtime friend/musician Billy Morrison has made its way to #26 on this week’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, according to Forbes. That song, “God’s Of Rock N Roll“, premiered on Ozzy’s Boneyard channel on SiriusXM last month, leading to subsequent radio play.

It’s a reworked version of their 2015 track “Gods“, which has newly been enhanced with the addition of a 61-piece orchestra and choir. While it currently stands as unreleased to the public, a video for it will be arriving online this Friday, February 14th, alongside the song’s debut on digital service providers

That single will also appear as a bonus track on the upcoming deluxe edition of Billy Morrison‘s “The Morrison Project“, which will arrive on February 21st. Among the other additional tracks on that expanded version of the album are demo and remix versions of Osbourne and Morrison‘s past single “Crack Cocaine“.

In other news, it’s not all smiles for Ozzy as of late. Photographer Neil Zlozower has filed a copyright infringement suit against the multi-platinum musician for allegedly sharing numerous photos taken by Zlozower of the aforementioned Osbourne patriarch with Randy Rhoads, Zakk Wylde and more, on official Osbourne social media accounts without Zlozower’s permission.

Billboard report that Zlozower claims to have reached out to Osbourne‘s camp three times in 2024 to have the offending photos removed, but received no response. A such he’s taken legal action over the matter.
