In perhaps one of the more inspired merch offerings to emerge in recent years, Primus are offering up a skillet depicting the cover art for their 1990 debut album, “Frizzle Fry“. That pan is 10.25” in diameter, and features a custom molded print inspired by Lance Montoya‘s memorable clay sculpted art for the aforementioned album on the bottom of the pan. As such, its actual cooking surface remains fully functional.
This new offering arrives in celebration of that album’s 35th anniversary and is available to pre-order now through Club Bastardo with an April 04th release being eyed. If custom cookware isn’t your bag, the band will also be issuing a limited edition clear with purple & green splatter pressing of “Frizzle Fry” on April 04th as well. If you’ve yet to see the news, earlier today, the above mentioned alternative metal oddballs officially announced their new drummer, following several months of open auditions that attracted over 6200 candidates.
