With NAMM in town, metal supergroup Metal Allegiance once again rolled through the House Of Blues in Anaheim, CA last night, January 23rd. The group’s core lineup of guitarist Alex Skolnick (Testament), drummer Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater, etc.) and bassists David Ellefson (ex-Megadeth, etc.) and Mark Menghi ran through an assortment of originals and covers, including tracks originally penned by Van Halen, Megadeth, Black Sabbath and more.
As is always the case, a roster of special guests joined them throughout the night, with the following among those billed in advance:

Arch Enemy vocalist Alissa White-Gluz also showed up, taking part in a cover of Megadeth‘s “Symphony Of Destruction“, while Mastodon‘s Troy Sanders indulged in a cover of “Parasite” by Kiss.
