New Chevelle music could be arriving in the very near future. The multi-platinum alternative metal band began work on their forthcoming tenth studio album several years back, opting to self-produce the affair. While that decision presented some challenges on its own, the group also left their longtime label home of Epic Records after the “NIRATIAS” cycle and have since signed on with Alchemy Recordings.
On top of that, some writing struggles, also factored into the lengthy gestation of this next full-length from the group. In a new conversation with Ruinous Media, the band’s vocalist/guitarist Pete Loeffler revealed that things having seemingly come together, offering:
“We don’t know when [the new Chevelle album will be released], but we’re hoping to get a single out there real soon, in the next month. So, if everybody in our team sort of agrees on which one that is.”
He went on to add that the band are, “actually in the process of talking to managers again.” He explained: “We don’t have management at the moment. We’ve just been rolling, dude, since ’21. We just let everybody go. I mean, we have all the other team members — agents — and we just started interviewing some management. And that’s hopefully going to be a good thing. We’ll see about that.”
