Metalcore horror aficionados Ice Nine Kills will be celebrating their albums “The Silver Scream” and “The Silver Scream 2: Welcome To Horrorwood” on the road in the new year. The group will be playing those records in full across a trek consisting of two-night stops which they’ve dubbed ‘The Silver Scream-A-Thon‘.
Pre-sales are launching today, December 17th at 09:00am PST / 12:00pm EST for Citi cardholders, with the band’s fan club pre-sale going up later today at 02:00pm EST / 11:00am PST. The general onsale will launch this Friday, December 20th at 10:00am local time.
The first night in each city is expected to see a full album performance of “The Silver Scream“, while the second stop will find the band playing “The Silver Scream 2: Welcome To Horrorwood“. In addition to those album performances, the group also plan to play some ‘deep cuts’ and brand-new material at each show as well. Ice Nine Kills vocalist Spencer Charnas commented:
“‘The Silver Scream-A-Thon‘ is a devilish chance for us to spend twice as much time in some of our favorite haunts, presenting a grindhouse-style double feature filled with deep cuts and our signature singalongs alike. In each city, Night One celebrates the fearsome full-length that began this era, ‘The Silver Scream‘. Night Two slashes through ‘The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood‘. Both evenings will unearth deep cuts from our band’s haunted past, with shocks and surprises galore.”
