The prolonged gestation period for the new project from current and former members of Killswitch Engage is nearly over. This reunion of that multi-platinum metalcore band’s guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz and former vocalist Howard Jones has been in the works for quite some time now. Per an update shared by Jones this morning, their debut album has finally been mixed, leaving only mastering and then the eventual release.
In a previous update shared this past August, Jones revealed that a name had been decided upon for this new band, but stopped short of revealing it. In his new post shared today, December 03rd, it would appear they’ve christened themselves Burn Eternal. Jones stated:
“Thai food lunch date!
It’s been a busy year for us, but we finally have our album mixed. Our schedules have caused this to take longer than expected, thanks for bearing with us. Back to work.
We are Burn Eternal. See you soon.”
