Boiler Room, a New York City, NY nü-metal band who were briefly signed with Roadrunner Records/Tommy Boy in the early 2000s, have returned with a new single titled “No Patience“. An earlier incarnation of the group featured Rob Caggiano, who went on to join Anthrax and Volbeat.
Vocalist Chris Lino has since rebuilt the band in recent years, with the roster of guitarist Nick Seditious (Soraia, Out Of Exile), bassist Pete Rizzi (Who On Earth) and drummer Tommy Spano (Sekond Skyn, Corey Glover) joining him in this latest version.
Drummer Jason Bittner (Shadows Fall, Category 7, etc.) handled the studio drumming on this new single, which was produced, engineered, mixed and mastered by Mike Orlando (Category 7, Adrenaline Mob). Lino commented of the reunion:
“There are songs and messages that still resonate deeply, and we’re ready to deliver them with everything we’ve got.”
It was not made clear if the song has ties to the group’s 2000 track, “Patience“. The band are however set to return to the stage at Dingbatz in Clifton, NJ on December 20th.
