The title track to System Of A Down‘s 6x multi-platinum 2001 sophomore album “Toxicity” has officially joined the 1 billion streams club on digital service provider Spotify. That track remains the Armenian-American nü-metal band’s second most popular song to date behind the aforementioned album’s lead single “Chop Suey!“.
The latter track hit 1 billion plays on Spotify in April of 2023. “Toxicity” was launched as the second single from the album it draws its name from back in January of 2002. It was last certified 3x multi-platinum in the United States in July of 2022.
The official music video upload of the track on YouTube is also nearing the 1 billion club on that service, having recently surpassed 948,763,000 plays as of press time.
