Distant are preparing an expanded version of their debut EP “Tsukuyomi” in celebration of its 10th anniversary. The deathcore group have titled this new version of the effort, “Tsukuyomi: The Origin“. Instead of a remaster or re-recording, this offering finds the deathcore outfit having ‘overhauled the original songs to reflect their current sound and vision.’ Century Media will have it out on November 22nd.

Guest spots from Trivium vocalist/guitarist Matthew K. Heafy, Despised Icon frontman Alex Erian, Enterprise Earth singer Travis Worland, and Signs Of The Swarm vocalist David Simonich are featured on this new opus, which features seven new songs, alongside six revamped tracks.

One of those featured new cuts is “Fleshweaver“, a video for which has debuted below. Distant commented: “Fast, heavy and straight to the point. ‘Fleshweaver‘ perfectly describes what Distant is about on the new record in its rapid carnage.”
