Dale Cover, known for his work as drummer/vocalist for long-running alternative metal outfit Melvins, has issued his new solo single “Spoiled Daisies“. Ty Segall joins him on this cut, which is the final advance single planned from Crover‘s next album, “Glossolalia“. A September 13th release date for that outing has been lined up through Joyful Noise Recordings.
As for this track, Crover offered:
“This one is about a psychedelic mushroom trip gone wrong. You’re looking for spirituality through psychedelics but end up having a bad trip and are exiled from the Garden of Eden. Plus, Ty Segall plays a raging, psychedelic guitar solo!”
