Another member of the metal community got to play on the world stage as part of the Paris Olympic Games this year. Outside of Gojira‘s much buzzed about performance at the opening ceremony, Cult Of Luna drummer Thomas Hedlund also got some TV time on the global stage.
However, unlike Gojira, Hedlund‘s time behind the kit came about via his duties as the touring drummer for French indie pop band Phoenix, who were one of the performers alongside a grip of special guests at yesterday’s (August 11th) closing ceremonies.
