Legendary Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi has released his new single “Deified“. That song emerges alongside an official music video, both of which serves as a companion piece to a newly released perfume he helped craft of the same name. That scent is available through Xerjoff.
Iommi co-produced this latest track alongside keyboardist Mike Exeter. Drummer Karl Brazil and bassist Laurence Cottle also played on the cut, while Ben Andrew provided orchestration. Iommi commented of his latest foray into the world of fragrances:
“Here we go again, another collaboration with my dear friend Sergio Momo (Xerjoff) with a new perfume called Deified. I’m really excited about our new perfume and after the success of our last one (Monkey Special) I hope that you’ll like Deified as much as I do. We’ve gone through the same process of trying different samples of perfume over the last year until we came up with this one and I really like it.”
This latest 1-2 punch from the heavy metal pioneer follows a similarly released perfume/song combo back in 2021
