Down have booked a pair of ‘pop-up shows’ in their native Louisiana for this week in light of their originally planned live return being postponed due to wildfires in the region. The sludge metal supergroup had been booked to play the Inn Of The Mountain Gods in Mescalero, NM tomorrow, June 20th. However, wildfires in the surrounding region saw the venue become unavailable, due to it being repurposed to shelter residents affected by the blazes. $5 from each ticket purchased for these two newly announced shows will go towards this associated relief fund.
