40 Below Summer have largely wrapped up the sessions for first studio album since 2015. Tracking for that outing began last year with vocalist Max Illidge winding down his vocal parts most recently. According to the band, some additional elements need to be taken care of, along with mixing and mastering. While a release date is still up in the air, the group are promising to have a new single out before the summer’s end. A post shared overnight by the New Jersey nü-metal band reads as follows:
“Just a heads up. Vocal tracking is finished. Comping, some simple processing and clean up are in progress. Synths, samples and sound effects to follow. Mixing in a couple of weeks. We will have a new single out this summer.
Follow the sun. “
