System Of A Down's Daron Malakian To Appear On Adult Swim's 'Royal Crackers'

System Of A Down vocalist/guitarist Daron Malakian has landed several roles in an impending episode of the Adult Swim animated series, ‘Royal Crackers‘. Malakian will be appearing in this Friday, March 29th’s (airing at 12:00am Thursday) episode, ‘Bidai‘, playing the roles of King Omar, Prince Omar and King Omar Senior.

A tease of him in action in the series, which tells the tale of the family behind a crumbling snack empire, can be seen below. If you’re unaware, Malakian is also dusting off his Scars On Broadway band for a pair of live appearances later this year. Those dates mark the first performances from the group since 2019 and include:

10/05 Los Angeles, CA – BMO Stadium (feat. Korn, Evanescence, Gojira, Spiritbox, etc.)
10/11 Sacramento, CA – Aftershock Festival

He’ll also be back onstage with System Of A Down at this year’s edition of the ‘Sick New World‘ fest, taking place April 27th at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds in Las Vegas, NV.
