As part of their ongoing European/UK tour, System Of A Down spent time onstage this week at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England. Across two separate concerts, guitarist/vocalist Daron Malakian took multiple shots at Oasis. The latter celebrated British rockers ignited a feud with System Of A Down back in the early 2000s when guitarist/vocalist Noel Gallagher disparaged the Armenian-American nü-metal collective in an interview, stating, “I’m actually alive to hear the shittiest band of all time.”

This past Monday, July 13th, Malakian fired a new salvo in that long-simmering feud, revamping the infamous lyrics of System Of A Down‘s 2001 track “Needles” into an Oasis-related diss. Ahead of kicking into the song, Malakian took the time to instruct the audience to partake in the following lyrical substitution:

“London, do you have an ass? I said, do you have an ass? Everybody say Ass! Ass! Ass! We have a little song about a tapeworm. Just for fun today, I’m going to name the tapeworm. Today I’m gonna name the tapeworm ‘Oasis’.”

He then went on to lead the audience in a chant of, “pull Oasis out of your ass.” Last night, July 15th, saw System Of A Down back onstage in the aforementioned venue, and this time around, Malakian went on to give updates on England’s losing World Cup match against Argentina.

Along with his updates on the score, Malakian repeatedly took the opportunity to encourage those in attendance to “blame Oasis” for the loss. You can watch various clips of that over on Instagram.
