Fans of multi-platinum rap metal pioneers Rage Against The Machine were delivered some unwanted news today, with the outfit ruling out any future touring. After the pandemic got in the way of their initial reunion touring plans, the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame-inducted firebrands returned to the stage together for the first time in over a decade back in July of 2022. However, just days into that run, severely tore his left Achilles tendon in an onstage mishap.

He would finish out that first leg of the tour seated, with the band ultimately canceling their further touring plans in October of that year. Since that time there was a question mark over whether or not the group would get back together once Zack was fully healed, and it appears that will not be the case.

Drummer Brad Wilk issued the below statement on the matter this afternoon, January 03rd:

“I know a lot of people are waiting for us to announce new tour dates for all the canceled RATM shows. I don’t want to string people or myself along any further. So while there has been some communication that this may be happening in the future… I want to let you know that RATM (Tim, Zack, Tom and I) will not be touring or playing live again. I’m sorry for those of you who have been waiting for this to happen. I really wish it was…”
