Platinum-certified power metallers DragonForce are back with another video game-related single, this time for VR hit ‘Beat Saber‘. That new track is titled “Power Of The Saber Blade“, and is among the four tracks featured on the sixth original soundtrack release for the aforementioned game, alongside cuts from Lindsey Stirling, Camellia and Far Out.

In a nod to the boss level status their music commanded in ‘Guitar Hero‘, this track will mark the fastest song in ‘Beat Saber‘ thus far, clocking in at 10.66 notes per second. The band’s guitarist Herman Li commented:

“It’s truly an honour for DragonForce to create an exclusive track for Beat Saber, a game we are wholeheartedly passionate about. We hope fans will discover the exhilaration of ‘Power of the Saber Blade,’ finding it both enjoyable and challenging across all levels. We’re eagerly anticipating the skillful attempts on Expert+”

A video for the track was shared online today and is available below. This cut won’t be featured on the band’s next album, “Warp Speed Warriors“, which they will have out on March 15th.
