Killswitch Engage have been tapped to appear on the upcoming “Guitar Hero: Van Halen” videogame, which is scheduled for a December 22nd release date. The group’s track “The End Of Heartache” will be featured alongside a number of other bonus artists in the game, including Queens Of The Stone Age, Foo Fighters, Judas Priest, Queen, The Clash, Billy Idol, Lenny Kravitz and more. Band guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz had the following to say about being included in the game:
“Dude, we’re wicked stoked to be a part of anything related to Van Halen, let alone Guitar Hero. They could be one of the best rock bands of all time, and I wanted to be Eddie my whole adolescent life! This is super sweet sickness.”
In other news, Killswitch Engage will soon be filming a video for their track “Take Me Away” in Massachusetts.
