Taproot‘s live plans have expanded with an additional September 30th date at The Machine Shop in Flint, MI having newly been announced. The band’s initial show at that venue, which will mark their first club show in six years, sold out in under 30 minutes.
The band commented:

And yes, for those that missed out, a second night has been added 9/30! Tickets on sale Weds at 10 AM (EST). Some of you will get a second chance, and I guess some of you can make it a Taproot weekend!!

Those shows will find vocalist/guitarist Stephen Richards, bassist Phil Lipscomb and drummer Jarrod Montague back onstage together. Guitarist Taylor Roberts has newly been added to the flesh out the band’s live lineup.
The nü-metal/alternative metal outfit will be dropping their first studio album in over a decade on September 29th. It has been titled “SC\SSRS” and was primarily written by Richards.
Ahead of that, Taproot fans can pick up an abbreviated compilation album of the group’s past sprawling “Besides” set. Titled “Best Of Besides“, that collection will arrive on April 30th via CD and September 30th on vinyl.
