Several former members of Judas Priest will be joining the band onstage during their upcoming induction into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. Among them are, the band’s at times estranged former guitarist K.K. Downing as well as early drummer Les Binks.
The British heavy metal legends will be entering the hall next month via a ‘Musical Excellence Award’ and are set to perform a medley of fan favorites amid the induction ceremony, which will be held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, CA on November 05th.
Downing recently spoke to Ultimate Classic Rock of being reunited with h is former bandmates, offering:
“I think we’ve probably got eight or nine minutes. I’m not even going to be able to break a sweat. The main thing is to represent the attitude and hopefully the legend of what Judas Priest is and has become and what it means to everybody who’s been on that very long journey through the decades with the band. And hopefully, it will just kind of remind people and bring back some cherished memories of the heavy metal parking lots all around the world.”
