Metallica and PBS would appear to be strange bedfellows, but here we are. The band’s ‘S&M2‘ performance will be airing tonight, October 29th, on the aforementioned channel with more details available here. Recorded during the band’s two-night stint at the Chase Center in San Francisco, CA back in September of 2019, that outing saw the band reworking their material for a joint performance with the San Francisco Symphony. The set was released by the band this past August.
