Petbrick have signed a U.S. deal with Closed Casket Activities and will release their debut album “I” on October 25th. The band are a collaborative duo consisting of Iggor Cavalera of Cavalera Conspiracy/ex-Sepultura, etc. fame and Wayne Adams (Big Lad/Death Pedals, etc.) and they have enlisted numerous guests for the record.
Among them are Full Of Hell‘s Dylan Walker on “Radiation Facial” and Integrity‘s Dwid Hellion on “Some Semblance Of A Story“. Meanwhile, Iggor‘s wife Laima Leyton guests on “Coming” and Mutado Pintado appears on “Gringolicker“. Cavalera commented of the project:
“We wanted to do something different than the other projects we were involved in. Making horrible noise was the first concept behind Petbrick.”
Adams added:
“I think we realized that we were both pretty much in tune with each others taste, both into a lot of weird electronic music, as well as some decent far out guitar stuff. For me personally I definitely pushed the electronics in a much harsher direction.”
