The Detroit Metro Times report that a Spring, Texas couple, John Guerreo, 48, and Virginia Yearnd, 39, have been charged with second-degree child endangerment after having left their 11-year-old daughter at home for a day and a half to catch a Godflesh‘s August 22nd show in Detroit, MI.
Authorities were said to have been made aware of the child’s situation on Thursday, August 23rd, after her great aunt alerted them that the child had been home alone. Yearnd for her part alleged that she had asked her sister to check in on the child during their absence, though the child claims to have not been informed of the matter.
